If you've never ordered commercial printing before, even the basics can feel confusing. Here are the questions we get asked most, answered without jargon.
Do I Need to Supply Artwork?
Not necessarily. If you have a design ready (logo files, a finished layout, a Canva export), send it through and we'll check it's print-ready. If you don't have artwork, we can design it for you. Most print shops offer design services. Just come with an idea of what you want and any files you do have - even a sketch on paper is a starting point.
What File Format Do You Need?
PDF is the safest bet for most jobs. For logos, vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are ideal because they scale without losing quality. High-resolution JPEGs and PNGs (300 DPI) work for photos and images. Read our full file prep guide if you want the details.
How Long Does It Take?
Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days from artwork approval for most jobs. Large format, apparel, and complex jobs may take longer. Rush jobs can often be done in 1 to 2 days. Full timeline breakdown is in our turnaround guide.
Is There a Minimum Order?
Depends on the product. Stickers and cards can be ordered in small quantities (50 to 100 minimum). Apparel has no minimum with DTF printing. Signage is typically priced per item - you can order a single banner or sign. We'll tell you if a product has a minimum and what makes economic sense for your quantity.
Can I See a Proof Before It's Printed?
Yes, always. Every job gets a digital proof (usually a PDF) before it goes to production. You check the layout, text, colours, and sizing. Once you approve it, we print. Never skip the proof stage - it's your last chance to catch errors.
What If I Don't Like How It Turned Out?
If the printed product matches the approved proof, it's correct. If it doesn't match - wrong colour, printing error, material defect - we reprint it. This is why the proof stage matters. Take five minutes to check everything carefully before approving.
